Information on reporting security issues

Protecting our customers from security threats is EVERCROSS's top priority. As a major player in network technology and smart home, we are committed to providing our users with safe and stable products and services and strictly protecting the privacy and security of their data. We welcome and encourage all reports regarding product security or user data.

Reporting vulnerabilities to EVERCROSS

We encourage organizations and individuals to contact the EVERCROSS security team to report potential security issues. To report a security or privacy vulnerability, please send an email to support@evercross.eu with the product name and software version, as well as a detailed description of the security issue. EVERCROSS will endeavor to respond to the report within 5 business days.

Guidelines for Responsible Reporting

  1. All parties involved should comply with the laws of their country or region.
  2. Vulnerability reports should be based on the latest released firmware and preferably written in English.
  3. Report vulnerabilities through the designated communication channel. EVERCROSS may receive reports from other channels but does not guarantee that they will be acknowledged.
  4. Always respect data protection and do not violate the privacy or data security of EVERCROSS users, employees, agents, services or systems during the discovery process.
  5. Maintain communication throughout the disclosure process and avoid disclosing vulnerability information before the agreed disclosure date.
  6. EVERCROSS does not currently operate a vulnerability reporting reward program.

How EVERCROSS deals with vulnerabilities

EVERCROSS encourages customers, vendors, independent researchers and security organizations to proactively report potential vulnerabilities to the security team. At the same time, EVERCROSS will actively collect information about vulnerabilities in products from the community, vulnerability repositories and various security websites.

EVERCROSS will respond to vulnerability reports as quickly as possible, typically within 5 business days. The security team will work with the product team to perform preliminary analysis and validation of the report and determine the validity, severity, and impact of the vulnerability. We may contact you if we need additional information about the reported vulnerability.

Once the vulnerability is identified, we develop and implement a remediation plan to Lsolution for all affected customers.

Resolution typically takes up to 90 days and may take longer in some cases.

You can track the progress and completion of all remediation actions.

Information on minimum security update periods

The support period for EVERCROSS components will be actively maintained for security updates from January 2024 to January 2027.
